Friends of mine have all be making Rocky Road so, not to be out done, I too have decided to make it. Nothing to do with being able to stuff my face with lots of choccy goodness tomorrow, no, this is to prove that I too can tackle the mastery of complex cooking and win.
This is where the basic recipe came from, this is where I first heard about it and this was the other person to make it before I decided to join in.
It has been placed in the fridge now that it is cooler and tomorrow it will be iced and tested. Just a little bit…

Bitter: Well, had I bought plain digestives the left over ones would have been devoid of choccy. Where is the sense in that???
I'm quietly impressed by this ... and thinking of following your example this weekend, though I'm tempted to use milk chocolate rather than dark.
My only concern is I can see myself getting distracted and eating the chocolate. And the marshmallows. And the cherries ...
Ah well, as my ol' Mum used to say: it all ends up in the same place anyway :-)
