It’s Saturday and I feel refreshed. I slept well, I didn’t get up until I was ready and it’s a sunny day. This has prompted several things.
- A blog entry. Not done one of these without a specific topic for a while, and it, at last, feels good to be doing one again.
- My sash window is a pain at the best of times to open but this morning it has been forced open all the way. This evening I shall probably have to put just as much effort into closing it, but that’s life, eh?
- It’s time to move furniture again. Not a drastically as last time as the basic plan is good now, but the desk needs a new place. I have also vowed to empty two boxes that I can’t find good places for.
- Cleaning will happen. Somehow.
- Domestic things will be bought. This is very, very dull and shouldn’t have even been mentioned.
When these tasks have been completed I shall more on to my second set.
- Paint more Little Men. I now have 5 requests, 4 of which must be delivered next weekend.
- Fix Lilblu
- Play with VB.NET
I appreciate that this second set may confuse non-regular readers but if you really want to know ask and I’ll explain.

I too got up when I was ready to this morning. And it is also very sunny here today. Have a great weekend doing what makes you happy.
The only thing I find confusing is that you have to fix a brand new computer.
I got up when I was ready (and the dog finally left me alone after begging for her breakfast) just a short time ago. So nice to have a Saturday off after working the last three in a row!
Good luck with the furniture rearrangement/moving. I'm hoping it's those IKEA ones that you can just take apart.
It's so nice to sleep in and wake up when you feel like it, esp. on a Saturday off :)
Love VB script "bits" myself. So easy to "automate" things with it.
Try rubbing some candle wax on the frame of the window to help it slide more easily.
Never mind your weekend... give us an update on the egg... are you an "uncle Pidge" yet?
And I'm with Ponita with the fixing of the new 'puter... what is it with you blokes and fixing stuff that ain't broke?!?
Paint more Little Men
Non-regular readers will imagine you face-painting midgets.
Mapstew: Weekend was great but mostly painting. No more painting till next week. :-)
Ponita: Computers only exist to piss off their owners, so occasionally they just crash and refuse to reboot. Fact.
Eroswings: Was great and all worked out well, yes. :-)
James: Vb is fun yes. Goo idea about window will try that.
Helga: Now, erm, I have to report that the egg was removed by one of the other residents. He promised that he had found a *suitable* place for it...
MJ: Next week. Would you like your own painted man too? ;-)
"Computers only exist to piss off their owners"
I can tell you've made a career from working with computers. Users may get angry and frustrated with computers from time to time, but it takes that professional involvement and dependence to get really cynical about them :-)
